New documentary “Rise Up! West Virginia”is director, B.J. Gudmundsson’s personal journey to understanding the impacts of mountaintop removal on the people and communities in southern West Virginia.

The film premier will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the South Charleston Museum’s LaBelle Theater located at 311 D. Street, S. Charleston, WV.

The event is co-sponsored by the Ohio Valley Environmental Coaltion and Christians for the Mountains.
